David Morgenstern is an award-winning writer and editor in the information technology field. In addition, he's also a cantorial soloist in the Jewish faith.
David is studying to become a cantor or chazzan in the Jewish religion. In mid-2008, he was hired as a cantorial soloist by Congregation Beth Israel Judea in San Francisco on Brotherhood Way. You can find him there leading services and classes, teaching students, leyning scripture and performing life-cycle events. He is also the author of the Kavvanotes blog.
Meanwhile, David continues to be half of the editorial team at ZDNet's Apple Core blog. He writes on the professional Apple market, from the Mac clients to Mac OS X Server, as well as using the iPhone in business and the enterprise.
David several years ago worked as executive editor and as a contributing editor covering storage and client systems at eWEEK, Ziff Davis Media's resource for enterprise IT managers, directors and executives.
You may know him as the once editor of MacWEEK and eMediaweekly trade publications, which targeted the professional Mac and creative publishing markets, respectively.
He also directed marketing and communications for several startups during the dotcom boom of the late 1990s.
